We’re pleased to introduce you to Avalon Animal Clinic, a high-quality facility where you’ll find an Indianapolis veterinarian eager to provide healthcare services to your cat, dog or pocket pet. Our objective is to make your beloved family member as comfortable with our services as you are sure to be.
Meet our team
Dr. Philip Kaiser, a graduate of Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine, has been a veterinarian in Indianapolis for more than 15 years.
Dr. Shannon Kiley, also a Purdue graduate, has practiced at Avalon Animal Clinic since 2012.
Dr. Larry Mitchell has been at Avalon since its opening, in 1979. The Purdue graduate has owned the practice for most of that time.
In addition to these compassionate, experienced and highly talented DVM professionals, the Avalon team includes a dedicated and pet-loving staff of client and pet care specialists. They will help make you and your furry friend feel right at home here, right from the start.
Range of services
We hope to start our relationship with you and your pet from the first annual exams. We offer full vaccination services, tooth and gum brushing and extractions, in-house lab diagnostic tests, nutritional and prescription diet advice, microchipping, surgery, internal medicine, cryotherapy, and many other services. We even make house calls and offer boarding services for our client’s pets.
Avalon veterinarians can also recommend specialists when needed. We encourage you to schedule visits not only for annual exams, injury and obvious physical or health disorders but also when you detect changes to your pet’s mood, dietary practices or day-to-day activities.
